NewTek Broadcasts Live from NAB

NewTek, manufacturer of 3D animation and video products, announced that it will broadcast all of the presentations at its NAB booth live, via the internet. The live Web stream can be viewed during NAB show hours at www.newtek.com/shows/nab/2004/. NewTek's VT[3] Live will be used to live-switch and stream the event. NewTek is exhibiting at SIGGRAPH in booth 1147.

The presentation schedule includes William Vaughan, NewTek's LightWave evangelist, and Kiki Stockhammer, NewTek's original and most memorable product evangelist. Vaughan will also present extended feature demonstrations of the latest capabilities added to the Emmy award-winning LightWave 3D toolset in version 8. In addition, NewTek's SIGGRAPH show will feature presentations by artists who use NewTek's LightWave 3D and VT[3] in production, including:

The artists will feature work from a diverse list of projects including recent films such as "I, Robot" and "Hell Boy," television shows "Enterprise," "Children of Dune" and "Battlestar Galactica," notable national commercials, game development, independent film and anime. Pricing and Availability The VT[3] Live Bundle is priced at $5,995.00 and includes the VT[3] cards/software, SX-8 Switcher and the RS-8 Switcher Control Surface. The VT[3] is priced at $2,995. Available options include the SX-8 Switcher for $1,995, RS-8 Switcher Control Surface for $995, and SDI I/O daughter card for $995.
