The Art Institutes Digital Photography class in Booth 1714, provides a hands on competitive edge education using cross platforms with G5 Macs, HP workstations, HP digital cameras, and Adobe Photoshop CS software.
Richard Harrington, instructor for Digital Imaging,
Video, and Multimedia at The Art Institute of
Washington (a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta) located in Arlington, VA, will manage this class.
Harrington, an Adobe Certified Expert, and Avid Master
Editor, and winner of numerous film/video awards, will direct participants will learn the limits of digital technology, understanding the impact of quick turn-arounds in communication distribution. Owner of
Richard Harrington Video and consultant to large communication firms, his expertise includes technical services and managerial services including video and film editing, producing, directing, and motion graphics.
The Digital Photography class will be offered by The
Art Institutes (booth #1714) on Tuesday, August 10,
10:30pm, 1:30pm & 4:30pm; Wednesday, August 11,
12:30pm & 3:30pm; and Thursday, August 12, 11:30am &
2:30pm.
With 1,500-square-feet of combined classroom and general exhibit space, an interactive digital art class and award-winning design presentations using industry-related technology, The Art Institutes will have a dynamic presence at the SIGGRAPH 2004 conference and exhibition.
