BOXX Technologies, a manufacturer of desktop and mobile workstations for digital content creation, announced a co-branding relationship with D2 Software to offer customers in the postproduction and visual effects community a turnkey digital compositing system featuring D2 Software’s Academy Award-winning NUKE compositing and effects product.
NUKE is a 2D and 3D digital compositing software application that has been refined over a period of more than 10 years to provide artists with the means to create photorealistic images of the highest quality. NUKE gives artists a flexible, efficient, cost effective and full-featured tool set with which to combine and manipulate scanned film, video plates and computer-generated imagery.
Used to date on over 35 movies and hundreds of commercials and music videos at Digital Domain, NUKE has advanced the ability to deliver final visual effects shots on film and video that integrate seamlessly with the remainder of the project, regardless of the desired visual style or complexity.
